Moderate and Intensive Learning

Program/Class Description: A home school instruction and support program designed to provide instructional support for home schooling families using curriculum based on the student’s individual needs.

The Home School Support program is for children who need additional related services like OT, PT, Speech/Language, or ABA. Students attend on a limited basis, and the flexible instructional model aligns with Florida BEST standards while accommodating their therapy needs and meeting state homeschooling requirements.

In this homeschool model, parents serve as the primary instructors and must register their child with the county’s homeschool office. We will provide instructional materials, computer-based lessons, and support. We will also compile a student portfolio, which parents must submit to the county homeschool office. Program costs are outlined below and can be paid using Step Up For Students funds.
